Data and licences

Shadowmark Maps shows data published by national mapping, environment and heritage bodies and by open-data projects. This page lists every source, its licence and the credit it asks for. The same credits appear in the app, under the map's ⓘ button and in panel › Data and licences. Last checked 18 October 2026.

Shadowmark Maps is independent. It is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any government body or data provider, and none of them endorses it. Data is shown as its owners publish it; we compute the Pro views ourselves from Environment Agency data. Check the official source before you rely on anything.
